This Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) plug-in builds on top of Classic Rational Unified Process (RUP), adding
guidance for the Software Architect and Designer in developing a Service Model. A Service Model is a model
representing a portfolio of services, that can be used as the basis for implementation activities already in RUP.
This plug-in also provides the connection between business modeling and service modeling. Many SOA projects
use business process models to understand the business, functional requirements and the services required to support a
